Nittany Track and Field youth athletic club is organizing a winter youth training group for middle school athletes to provide them with off-season conditioning and to foster development of fundamental motor abilities and techniques.
Who: Middle school
athletes (11-14 years old). Group size is limited to 30 Sundays
may also partially include outdoor running, weather permitting.
Athletes will
be provided with a training plan for the days between group sessions. Indoor Track Meets: Athletes
will have an opportunity to compete in several indoor track meets to get indoor racing experience. Indoor
meet
information will be provided. Participation in the track meets is

1/13/2019 Sunday practice time change: 4:30 - 6:00 pm. Adjust your calendars.
We have shifted hours slightly to avoid space conflict with the basketball group. Hopefully it will work for everybody. |
1/5/2019 We are ready to start our group training this Sunday, 1/6 from 4 to 5:30 pm at Spectra Wood gym. This is the address: 2625 Carolean Industrial Dr., State College PA 16801. You will need to use a side entrance to access the gym. Hope to see you all there! When you come to the first practice, you will be asked to sign an additional waiver by the owner of the facility. Please bring a water bottle and wear clothes and shoes suitable for running. |
12/5/2018 The first practice of 2019
for the NTF Winter program is scheduled for January 6, 4 pm, at Spectra
Wood Gym. Atheletes need to come prepared for exercise indoors. Wear
running shoes, bring water bottle, and a jump rope.
